Paperwork in the morning, and then out after lunch to meet St Laurence residents. I had some interesting and useful conversations. But a relatively new, relatively new volunteer had the scoop of the day. On one the last doors he knocked on he found a lady who initially told him that she was going to vote for another party.
By the time he left, she had decided not only that she was going to vote Liberal Democrat, but that she was going to display a poster, and start coming to Liberal Democrat coffee mornings.
After the door knocking session we had a campaign meeting. Brief but very useful. And then a bit more paperwork to finish the day.
