9.45 Picked up to go and talk to residents.
10.00 On the doorstep in Prittlewell. Some good conversations.
11.00 Visit to a local school - great to see the children doing so well.
11.20 Back on the doorstep.
11.50 Visit to a local charity doing fantastic work. Really good to meet the team and see the work they are doing.
12.10 to 12.30 On the doorstep
13.45 Attend a hustings meeting courtesy of the Southend Pensioner Campaign. A lot of familiar faces, and a good response to my speech. Some very sharp questioning...and a no show from the Tories!
16.05 Useful phonecall from a local paper.
16.10 Meet one of our local election candidates to distribute leaflets to delivers (half of them new volunteers).
18.00 Back to flat to change. Email waiting from a local paper (good news).
18.45 Meet travelling help - up from London.
19.00 to 20.45 Great help given - I could get to like this.
21.00 time for a curry!
